About Us
You may be wondering what all of this means and represents. House of Throw is a thriving and growing community of like-minded individuals who seek to game for the greater good.
Throwing
[th-row-ing] verb.
In video games, "throwing" typically refers to the act of intentionally losing or performing poorly in a game, often to frustrate or annoy other players. This behavior is generally considered unsportsmanlike and can lead to negative consequences, such as being reported or banned from the game. It's important to remember that good sportsmanship and fair play contribute to a positive gaming community. HOWEVER! Here it means a little something different. We embrace the fact nobody is perfect but that shouldn't be allowed to stop someone from doing their best. The House of Throw stands up for those who feel they were never good enough or beat down for making mistakes. We embrace the art of growth and want to build a sanctuary for all skill types to allow a positive growth for anyone. You do not need to be perfect or even great, just try and do your best.
